Friedrich Bauer and Martin Bauer follow the invitation of the Austrian notable consul in North Carolina – Mr. Robert Friedl, to present the Austrian environmental technology in America. They were invited to lead a one-week workshop for representatives from economy, politics and science. There was a particular interest in Ing. Friedrich Bauer plc.`s technology for plants to dispose of biogenic waste. Beside the general workshop there took place a notable number of talks with representatives from Raleigh and Charlotte.
Furthermore there were a vivid exchange of ideas and an interesting discussion with top scientists of the North Carolina State University, which analyzed the technology from A to Z. Professor Jay J. Cheng, who has already visited plants by Ing. Friedrich Bauer plc. in Austria, sustained Mr. Bauer`s saying. Also agricultural farms were visited to check up and point out the opportunities in the field of renewable raw material. In addition, the technology and the know-how from Austria was presented to a selected number of public servants and Permanent Under-Secretaries in the historical consular building in Mount Holly. Before the departure, there was also programmed a talk with representatives of the economic chamber in Charlotte, to talk about the environmental situation in general, about cooperation chances and the potential for the technology of Ing. Friedrich Bauer plc.
During this stay Friedrich and Martin Bauer could get an impression of the culture and art-of-living of the Americans, the hospitality towards them was really impressing. Special thanks to Mr. Friedl, the Austrian notable consul in North Carolina and his wife, who have organized these meetings. Mr. Friedl and Mr. Bauer got to know some years ago during the meeting of Lower-Austrians living abroad in St. Pölten, which shows once again the importance of caring for foreign contacts and using the abroad contacts of domestics.
In the meantime there was already a company founded in Mount Holly to realize and market the project development in environmental technology.
